Owner comments: Banquo is a rare Cremello Swedish Warmblood imported to the U.S. by Janet & David Starr in recent years.  Janet Starr co-owns Banquo who is an Approved, Foundation stallion with SHOC.  Banquo is interesting as a sire because of his pedigree, conformation as well as the various possibilities of colors he may produce; bred to a chestnut, a Palomino foal will result; bred to a bay, a buckskin foal may result, etc. Banquo is automatically excluded from the Swedish Warmblood Verband due to his unique Cremello color, which is not accepted by the Swedish, at least, thus far. Banquo's sire is Bernstein, currently ranked #2 Swedish Warmblood stallion in the world. Bernstein is a unique buckskin color, registered as "yellow bay" and a leading dressage sire in Sweden.
